Parcel Locker Boxes for Lithuania: Omniva, LP Express and DPD Compartment Sizes and Custom Boxes

In Lithuania a large share of online-shop parcels travels through parcel lockers, so the box size decides not only protection but also whether the parcel fits the compartment at all and what its delivery costs. Below are the compartment sizes of the three biggest networks and the practical conclusion for resellers and online shops.

Locker compartment sizes (height × width × depth, cm)

Size Omniva LP Express DPD Pickup
XS – 8 × 18.5 × 61 8 × 18 × 61
S 9 × 38 × 64 8 × 35 × 61 8 × 43 × 61
M 19 × 38 × 64 17.5 × 35 × 61 17 × 43 × 61
L 39 × 38 × 64 36.5 × 35 × 61 36 × 43 × 61
XL – 74.5 × 35 × 61 –

One box that fits all three networks

If you ship with several carriers or may switch between them, the easiest approach is to choose dimensions that fit the smallest compartment of the same size across the three networks. From the table this gives the following maximum external dimensions:

Compartment size Height Width Depth
S up to 8 cm up to 35 cm up to 61 cm
M up to 17 cm up to 35 cm up to 61 cm
L up to 36 cm up to 35 cm up to 61 cm

Our recommendation: leave a margin of a few millimetres, because a full box can bulge slightly and the compartment door must close without force. For an S compartment, for instance, order a box of about 70–75 mm height rather than 80 mm. This is our practical advice, not a carrier requirement; always test the final size with a real packed parcel.

Choosing a box by product

  • Flat items (documents, books, clothing, accessories): use the S compartment height. A4-sized items fit, for example, a box of about 320 × 230 mm.
  • Medium items (footwear, cosmetics, small electronics): M compartment height.
  • Larger items: L compartment; for long items XS (LP Express and DPD) or XL (LP Express) can be cheaper than an oversized box.
  • Fragile items: add corrugated inserts and dividers so the product does not move inside.

Frequently asked questions

Which locker network has the biggest compartments?

According to the carriers’ published data, DPD compartments are wider (43 cm), Omniva compartments are deeper and taller (64 cm depth, 39 cm for L), and LP Express has the only XL compartment (74.5 cm high). A single box that fits every network is therefore limited by the smallest compartment.

Can you make boxes to my locker compartment size?

Yes. We make boxes to the customer’s dimensions. The minimum order is one pallet, and if you want to test a size first we can make a sample or a short run without tooling costs.

Which board should I choose for locker parcels?

It depends on weight and fragility. 3-ply is usually enough for light goods; choose 5-ply for heavier ones. We recommend testing a real packed parcel.

Can the box carry my logo?

Yes. We print flexo up to 4 colours or digitally (UV / pigment).
